Surveys and votes
Give your team a voice: lineup votes and surveys with custom questions, with all the answers collected in one place.
Who creates, who answers
Open More → Surveys. Coach and staff create, edit, close and delete surveys; athletes see the ones addressed to them and answer. Answers can be submitted from every platform: iPhone/iPad app, Android app and web app.
The lineup vote
The classic team survey: the coach launches the vote and athletes vote for their teammates to build the ideal lineup. The coach sets the title and deadline, sees how many votes have come in and closes the vote whenever they like. It's managed from the web app, in the Votes section.
Surveys with custom questions
For everything else — self-assessments, fatigue, logistics — you build a survey of your own.
- From More → Surveys tap the button to create a new survey.
- Write the title and, if you want, a deadline.
- Choose the recipients: athletes, staff or everyone. Among the athletes you can also deselect anyone who shouldn't receive it, to create a smaller group (for example only those who played).
- Add your questions, or start from a template (see below).
- Publish: the recipients get a notification and can start answering.
Question types
- Free text — a field to write in;
- Rating — a configurable numeric scale (minimum, maximum and labels);
- Single choice or multiple choice among options you define;
- Yes / No.
Any question can be marked as required: the athlete will have to answer it to complete the survey.
VCC's ready-made templates
So you don't start from scratch, the app offers two pre-filled templates you can edit before publishing:
- Post-match self-assessment — 28 questions about the performance: 1-to-10 ratings on each skill with comments, playing time, tactical and mental aspects, what to work on;
- Borg scale — the RPE scale for the session's perceived exertion, with aches and notes.
Reading the answers
When the coach opens a survey, there are two tabs: Details (the questions, editable) and Answers, with the participation summary — how many answered out of the total athletes, with the percentage and average ratings — and each athlete's individual answers. From here you can also close the survey (it stops accepting answers) or delete it entirely.
Notifications
When you publish a survey, the recipients get a notification in the app's bell. They also get a push notification on their phone if they've chosen the "All" level in Settings → Push notifications.
