Account and security
Profile, app language, password, sign-in methods and — if you ever need it — deleting teams and your account.
Editing your profile
Go to More → Settings → Profile: here you see your first name, last name, email and role. With Edit Profile you can change your first and last name; coaches and staff can also set a profile photo. The email is the one you signed up with and can't be changed from here.
The app language
Volley Control Center is available in 9 languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil) and Serbian. You can switch language at any time from More → Settings: it takes effect instantly across the whole app, on iPhone, Android and the web app.
You pick your language right from the start: nationality and app language are the first two fields of the sign-up form. When you choose your country, the most natural language is pre-selected and the screen switches language instantly, without losing anything you had already typed.
Changing or setting your password
Go to More → Settings → Sign-in methods and tap Change password (or Set a password if you don't have one yet).
- If you already have a password, enter your current one.
- Type the new password: at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
- Confirm it and save.
Sign-in methods
On the same page you'll see the three ways you can sign in to your account: Email and password, Google and Apple. You can link a new provider or unlink one, with one rule: at least one active method must always remain.
Signing out
In More → Settings → Danger zone you'll find Sign out: it only disconnects this device — your data stays untouched.
Deleting a single team
If you're the founder of one or more teams, the Danger zone also includes Delete team: pick the team from the list and confirm by typing exactly DELETE.
Deleting your account
Also in the Danger zone, Delete account erases your profile forever. Here too, you have to type exactly DELETE to confirm.
Account deletion is also available from the code page ("You need an invite"): that way, even people who aren't part of any team or weren't accepted can use it.
