Season and archive

At the end of the year, save the whole season to a file, reset and start fresh. Here's what really goes into the archive — and what doesn't.

Everything happens in Settings → Plan and data → Season (only the coach sees this page). You'll find three cards: Archive season, Import archive and Reset season.

Archive season

Downloads an archive file (JSON) with all the season's data and links:

At the end, the app confirms the download with a count of everything that was saved.

The archive contains the data, not the actual files: videos, images and PDFs are not downloaded. With "Reset season" the video files are deleted from the cloud forever (after a re-import the clips remain but without footage), while PDFs and images stay on the server and work again after re-importing. Always keep a personal copy of your videos.

Reset season

Deletes all the season's data so you can start over. Your account, the roster and the club remain.

  1. Download the archive first: the Reset season button only becomes available after you've exported in this session.
  2. Tap Reset season.
  3. Type exactly ARCHIVIA STAGIONE in the confirmation field (in the English version of the app the confirmation phrase may be localised).
  4. Confirm with Reset: the app shows you a summary of what was deleted.
The reset is irreversible without an archive and also deletes the video files from storage. Make sure your archive file is safe (and that you have a copy of your videos) before going ahead.

Import archive

Brings the data from a previously downloaded archive back into the team. Before importing, the app shows you a summary: club, export date and counts.

Importing is possible only if the current season is empty. If you've already entered data, the app tells you and the import stops. It's also handy for recovering the data of a deleted team, by importing its archive into a new team.

Danger zone: deleting a team

Different from a reset: here the whole team disappears. Only the founding coach can do it, from Settings → Danger zone → Delete team.

  1. Open Delete team: you'll see the list of teams you founded.
  2. Pick the team to delete.
  3. Type exactly ELIMINA (or DELETE in the English version of the app) and confirm.

Deletion is permanent and wipes all the team's data: events, players, documents, statistics and videos. Your other teams and your account are untouched. If the deleted team was the active one, the app switches to the first remaining team.

Before deleting a team, run "Archive season" from the Season page: you'll always be able to re-import its data into a new team.
