Opponents
Your directory of the teams you face: opponent rosters and staff, ready to review before every match.
In the More → Opponents section you record the teams you play against. It's a tool for coaches and staff: athletes don't see this section.
Adding an opposing team
- Open More → Opponents.
- Tap the + button.
- Enter the team name and, optionally, the city.
- Tap Save.
The team appears in the list, which you can scroll or narrow down with search. Tapping a team opens its page, where you can correct the name and city at any time with Edit.
The opponent's roster
Inside each opposing team's page you can record:
- the players, with name, jersey number and position — the list is sorted by number;
- the staff, with name and role (coach, team official, etc.).
You can add, edit and delete individual people as you gather information over the season.
What opponents are used for
The directory isn't just a reminder: it's used in other parts of the app.
- Scout Live. When you create a match to scout, you pick the opponent: their name appears on the scoreboard and on the final box score. See the Scout live guide.
- Statistics. In the season reports you can filter data by opponent, to see how the team performed against a specific rival.
- Match preparation. Before the match, coaches and staff review the opponent's roster: who the setter is, what number the opposite wears, who sits on the bench.
Deleting an opposing team
- In the opponents list, tap the trash icon on the team.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleting an opposing team is reserved for the coach and cannot be undone: the team's recorded players and staff are lost along with it.
Build the opponent's roster bit by bit: after each match, add the numbers and positions you spotted. By the time the return fixtures come around, you'll have a ready-made scouting sheet.
