Live scouting
Track the match point by point from the bench: score, player actions, instant corrections and a final box score ready to share.

Where it lives and who uses it
Open More → Live Scout. It's a bench tool for the coach and staff only: athletes don't see it.
Creating a new match
- Tap the button to create a new scout.
- Info: competition type and name, date, time, venue and referees (optional).
- Home: pick the home team. It can be your team, an opponent already saved in Opponents, or a brand-new team created by hand with its players.
- Away: same choice for the visiting team.
- Tap Create Scout: you're ready for the first whistle.
During the match
The scoreboard shows both teams' scores and the set strip. On every rally:
- tap the player who scored and the type of action: Ace, Attack or Block;
- record errors the same way: service error or generic error;
- if you don't want to credit anyone, use the quick buttons at the top: the point goes to the team with no player attached;
- log timeouts for both teams.
Sets follow volleyball rules: won at 25 points (15 in the fifth set), always with a two-point lead.
Corrections: undo and redo
Gave the point to the wrong player? Tap the back arrow to undo the last action, as many times as you need. The forward arrow restores what you just undid.
End of set and end of match
The point that would close a set (or the match) is never applied blindly: the app always asks for explicit confirmation before closing. You also get End set and End match buttons to close manually — for example in case of a forfeit.
The final box score
At the end of the match you get the full box score: result, set strip and stats for every player (aces, attacks, blocks, errors), with the MVP suggested by the app based on points scored.
With the PDF button you export the box score in scoresheet style on a single A4 page — header, result box, tables and signatures — ready to share with your club and parents.
Live scouting vs the Statistics section
They're two complementary tools. Live Scout produces the box score for a single match and stays available in the list of tracked matches. The season statistics in the Statistics section (reports, rankings, trajectories) come instead from importing DataVolley scout files: if your team has a scoutman, import the .dvw file after the match to get the full analysis as well.
