Events and schedule

Practices, matches and team appointments, always up to date for everyone.

The Events section is home to the team calendar. The coach creates the events; athletes see them in the app right away and get a notification whenever something changes. Events can be created by the coach and by staff members with the "Create events" permission.

Creating an event

  1. Open the Events section and tap the + button.
  2. Choose the event type: Practice, Match or Other.
  3. Pick the date on the calendar.
  4. Optionally, set the time: just the start ("8:00 PM") or a time range ("8:00–10:00 PM").
  5. Choose the location (see below).
  6. Add any notes, such as the meeting time or what to bring.
  7. If needed, attach a PDF — for example the call-up list or the training plan.
  8. Tap Create Event.

Locations and saved venues

In the Location field you can pick one of your saved venues or choose "New location...", entering a name and a Google Maps link. If you turn on Save to my venues, the location is stored and will be ready in the list next time. Anyone opening the event can tap "Open in Maps" to start navigation.

The attached PDF

A PDF attached to an event is visible to the whole team from the event details. Coaches and staff can also attach it later, replace it or remove it. Events with a PDF show a document icon in the list.

Editing or deleting an event

  1. Open the event from the list or the calendar.
  2. Tap Edit to change the type, date, time, location or notes, then tap Save.
  3. Or tap Delete and confirm. Deleting an event cannot be undone.

Importing many events at once

To load a whole season of practices, there's no need to create events one by one.

  1. In the Events section, tap the import button (table icon) and choose Download Excel template. The template already includes your saved venues in a dropdown.
  2. Fill in the file with one row per event.
  3. Go back to the app and choose Import from Excel, then select the completed file (.xlsx or CSV).
  4. The app tells you how many events were created and, if some rows were invalid, the reason row by row.

Automatic team notifications

When you create or edit an event, the team automatically receives a notification. For a bulk import, a single summary notification is sent — not one per event. Calendar notifications are treated as "essential": they reach even those who chose to receive only essential notifications (see Notifications).

How athletes see events

Athletes find events in three places:

From an event's details you can tap "Add to Calendar" to save it to your phone's calendar; from the list you can export all events at once.
